Before The Beginning
Once every hundred years, before modern days, back when gods and demons roamed the earth, any child born on the day of an eclipse that smells of death and brimstone will inherit special abilities. For man, that day is not marked, but on the Demon calendar it’s marked Feb 30th. For thousands of years those children were seen as gods. Some raced the birds, some played tag with sharks, some moved mountains and some smelled death and brimstone multiple times.
Cloaked in the most luxurious silk threads and the finest armor collected over generations, these beings loved war. Any side they joined would reach almost certain victory. Jumping from battlefield to battlefield, helping those who would offer the most gold, silk, or armor, these beings would do any dirty deed.
